HOUSE RULES Thank you for taking care of our home We’re delighted to welcome your production to our home. We ask that all crew, cast, clients and suppliers treat the property and its contents with care and respect throughout the shoot. Please ensure these rules are shared with everyone attending the location before arrival. SHOES & FLOORING ● No outdoor shoes inside the house. ● Shoe covers must be worn where shoes cannot be removed, including by crew carrying equipment. ● Please ensure shoe covers are clean and replaced if they become dirty or wet ● All tripods, light stands and equipment with feet must have tennis balls or suitable protective covers on the ends ● Additional floor protection must be used beneath heavy equipment or wherever required. ● Never drag equipment, furniture, props or cases across the floor – always lift and carry. ● No stiletto heels or shoes likely to damage flooring unless specifically agreed in advance. FURNITURE & BELONGINGS ● Please do not move furniture or personal belongings without permission from the location representative. ● Anything that is moved must be carefully lifted, not dragged, and returned to exactly where it was found after the shoot. ● Please do not sit, stand or place equipment on furniture unless it is being used for the shoot. ● Do not use personal belongings as props or set dressing unless specifically agreed. ● Please take care around walls, doors, skirting boards, mirrors, artwork and decorative items. ● Nothing may be nailed, pinned, screwed, taped, glued or attached to walls, doors, floors, ceilings or furniture without prior permission. Professional location guidance commonly prohibits this without owner approval. FOOD & DRINK ● No food or drink in the shooting areas. ● Water should only be consumed in designated areas. ● No food or drink should be placed on furniture, beds, worktops or other surfaces unless specifically being used as part of the shoot. ● Catering must take place only in the agreed catering area. ● Please clean up immediately after eating or drinking. SMOKING, VAPING & CANDLES ● No smoking or vaping inside the house. ● Smoking outside is only permitted in the designated area and cigarette ends must be disposed of safely. ● No candles, naked flames, incense, pyrotechnics or smoke effects without prior written agreement. ● No alcohol or recreational drugs on the premises unless specifically agreed as part of the production. ANIMALS ● No animals or pets are permitted inside the property unless agreed in advance. ● Any animals required for the shoot must be discussed with the location representative beforehand. RUBBISH & CLEANING ● Production is responsible for removing all rubbish generated during the shoot. ● Bin bags will be provided. ● Please tie all rubbish bags securely and take them with you when you leave. ● Do not leave packaging, food waste, props, cardboard, bottles or production materials behind. ● Please leave the house clean, tidy and in the same condition in which you found it. ● Any spills or mess must be cleaned immediately. ACCESS & SECURITY ● Only people who are part of the agreed production should enter the property. ● Please do not enter rooms or areas that are not being used for the shoot. ● External doors should not be left open or propped open unnecessarily. ● Please ensure doors and gates are secured when the location is unattended. ● Do not share the property’s address, access details or photographs of private areas without permission. PARKING & EXTERIOR ● Please only park in the agreed parking areas. ● Do not block neighbouring driveways, pavements or access points. ● Production vehicles, vans and equipment should only be positioned where agreed in advance. ● Take care not to damage driveways, lawns, plants, flower beds, walls or gates ● No equipment should be placed on grass or delicate outdoor surfaces without suitable protection. NEIGHBOURS & NOISE ● Please be considerate of neighbours at all times. ● Crew should avoid unnecessary shouting, loud music or congregating outside the property. DAMAGE & ACCIDENTS ● Please report any damage, breakage, spill or accident to the location representative immediately. ● Do not attempt to repair or conceal damage yourself. ● The production company is responsible for any damage caused during the shoot (public liability insurance required). ● Any existing damage should be noted before equipment is brought into the relevant area. WRAP / LEAVING THE LOCATION Before leaving, the production/location manager should complete a final check to ensure: ● All crew and equipment have left. ● All rubbish has been removed. ● All furniture and belongings have been returned to their original positions. ● Floors and surfaces are clean and undamaged. ● Nothing has been left behind. ● Doors, windows and gates are secure. ● The property is returned to the same condition in which it was found. MOST IMPORTANTLY Please treat the house as you would your own home. Thank you for helping us keep the property in excellent condition and for leaving it exactly as you found it.
