Professional Kitchen Rules:Cooking & Food Preparation: If any cooking is taking place, a kitchen porter hire will be required All ingredients and props must be removed at end of booking unless arranged in advance Raw meat/fish must be handled in designated areas only All work surfaces must be sanitized after food preparation Commercial refrigeration available for perishable items during shoot Equipment & Breakages: Handle all professional equipment with care - this is a working cookery school Any breakages are paid for in full on the day Equipment must be returned to its original positions after use Do not move Miele ovens, fridges, or fixed appliances KitchenAid mixers and small appliances can be repositioned with care Report any damage or issues immediately to avoid charges Space Usage: Furniture can be moved with care - please return to original layout Do not attach anything to beams or walls without prior approval No nails, screws, tape, or adhesive on any surfaces without permission Props and equipment can be used, but must be handled respectfully Clean as you go - maintain a tidy workspace throughout shoot Health & Safety: Maximum capacity: 30 people, including crew Fire exits must remain clear at all times No smoking anywhere inside the building (designated outdoor area available) First aid kit available on-site Emergency contact details provided on arrival Professional ovens/hobs - only use if qualified or supervised Arrival & Departure: Access from 8am - confirm exact times when booking Allow 30 minutes setup before the shoot start time Allow 30 minutes pack-down after the shoot end time Leave space as you found it - all rubbish removed Keys/access codes to be returned as instructed Late departure fee: £75 per hour (please communicate if running over) What's Included: Use of all visible props, cookware, and equipment Standard crockery, cutlery, boards, and serving ware Access to sinks, water, power outlets, and WiFi Basic cleaning supplies Tea and coffee facilities Free parking What's NOT Included: Food ingredients (bring your own unless arranged) Specialist props not visible in photos (ask first) Kitchen porter (required if cooking - can arrange for £150/day) Cleaning service (leave clean or £100 cleaning fee applies) Waste removal for large productions (arrange in advance) Respect Our Neighbours: Keep noise to reasonable levels Park only in designated areas No music audible outside the building Respect countryside setting - no littering Cancellation Policy: 30+ days notice: Full refund 14-29 days notice: 50% refund Under 14 days: No refund (unless we can rebook the slot) We reserve the right to cancel due to essential maintenance Additional Requirements: Proof of public liability insurance (minimum £2 million) required for commercial shoots Risk assessment may be required for complex productions Signed location agreement on arrival Contact details for production manager/photographer required Notify us of crew size in advance (capacity limits apply) Strictly Prohibited: Smoking inside the building Open flames (except gas hobs/ovens under supervision) Damage to historical features (beams, walls, floors) Use of confetti, glitter, or materials that cause permanent mess Exceeding capacity limits Subletting or allowing access to unauthorized persons Good Practice: Communicate any special requirements in advance Bring protective floor covering for heavy equipment Label any items you bring so nothing is left behind Take "before" photos to ensure you return space to original state Ask if unsure about using any equipment
