Modernised 17th Century detached cottage with separate double carport and self contained 1 bed flat in Burgess Hill

1. Protection of Surfaces & Structure Flooring Protection Required: Ram Board, layout board, or heavy-duty rubber matting must be laid down on all high-traffic Muhuhu parquet flooring before any equipment is loaded in. Lift, Don’t Drag: All heavy equipment, camera sliders, and furniture must be lifted by hand; dragging items across any flooring or patios is strictly prohibited. Wall & Corner Guards: Tennis balls or specialized rubber padding must be placed on the feet of all light stands, C-stands, and tripods. No Adhesives on Walls: Standard duct tape, gaffer tape, or tacks may not be used on the walls or engineered oak doors. Only low-tack, surface-safe painter's tape is permitted. 2. Space-Specific Boundaries The Glass Well Cover: The glass floor panel over the well is a visual asset only; standing, placing heavy kit, or setting up heavy gear directly on top of the glass cover is strictly prohibited. Marble Bathrooms & WC: The marble surfaces are highly sensitive to scratching and acid etching. They cannot be used as temporary storage for production equipment or tools. 3. Logistics, Food & Catering Designated Green Room: The detached annexe is the designated holding area for cast, crew, hair/makeup, and wardrobe. Food and Drink Policy: Craft services and hot meals must be consumed entirely inside the detached annexe or outdoors in the designated garden entertaining terrace. Only capped water bottles are allowed inside the main house. Smoking & Vaping: Absolutely no smoking or vaping anywhere inside the main residence or the annexe. Smoking is restricted to a designated outdoor area away from open windows. Waste Management: The production team must supply their own heavy-duty bin bags and take all commercial and production rubbish off-site upon wrap-up. 4. Setup, Strike & Restoration We require a full Tech Recce for any crew over 15 people so we can pre-approve your floor protection plans and power usage. Walkthrough Mandate: A formal pre-shoot walkthrough and a post-shoot wrap-up inspection must be completed together by the Location Manager and the Property Owner. Art Department Rules: Minor set dressing changes (e.g., moving loose furniture) require prior approval and must be completely restored to the original position before checking out. Overtime Billing: Setup, filming, and full clean up must happen within the booked time slot. Any minutes past the approved wrap time will be billed at Scouty’s standard overtime rate.
