Sail Loft – Ground Floor | House Rules General Use - The space must only be used for the purposes agreed at booking, including photography, filming, content creation, workshops and other approved productions. - Please respect the building's historic character, original features, fixtures and furnishings. - No smoking or vaping anywhere inside the building or courtyard. - All bookings must remain within the agreed hire period, including setup and breakdown. - Maximum crew and guest numbers must be agreed in advance. Exceeding the agreed capacity may result in termination of hire. - Access is limited to the booked floor unless otherwise arranged. Access & Security - The building is accessed via a gated pedestrian walkway. Please ensure the gate is securely closed after entry. - All equipment, props and personal belongings must be removed at the end of the booking. - Please ensure the property is left secure when departing. Photography, Filming & Equipment - Photography and filming equipment, lighting, props and backdrops are welcome, provided they do not damage the property. - Any alterations to the space, including moving furniture, attaching decorations or modifying fixtures, must be approved in advance. - Nails, screws, adhesives or other fixings that could damage walls, floors or original features are not permitted. - Smoke machines, haze, candles, naked flames and special effects require prior written approval. - Please keep noise at a respectful level. Amplified sound or music must be agreed in advance. Food, Drinks & Catering - Guests may bring refreshments, snacks and food for their crew, subject to prior approval. - External catering is welcome by prior arrangement. Caterers and any additional equipment must be approved in advance - Any use of kitchen facilities must be agreed before the booking. - Access to the Lower Ground kitchen is not included unless specifically arranged. - All food preparation and catering areas must be left clean and tidy. - Please dispose of food waste, packaging and rubbish appropriately. - Alcohol must be discussed and approved in advance. Any necessary licensing requirements must be met. Cleaning & Damage - The space must be left clean, tidy and in its original condition. - Basic cleaning is included; excessive mess or damage may incur additional charges. - All rubbish must be placed in designated bins or removed from the premises. - Any damage or breakages must be reported immediately and may be chargeable. Health, Safety & Responsibilities - The hirer is responsible for the conduct and safety of all crew members, guests and suppliers attending the booking. - Fire exits, access routes and emergency equipment must remain unobstructed. - Equipment must be used safely, with cables secured to prevent trip hazards. - No overnight stays unless agreed in writing beforehand. - Please be mindful of energy and water usage throughout your booking. Additional Requirements If your production requires specialist equipment, external suppliers, catering, additional floors or arrangements outside the standard hire, please discuss these with us before booking so we can confirm suitability and availability.
