About this space
A cosy, Victorian maisonette in the heart of De Beauvoir, East London. The property has its own private front entrance on the lower ground floor, which leads to an open plan living room, kitchen and dining area, and is full of original features, a working fireplace, vintage furniture and the convenience of modern technology. The cast iron spiral staircase leads up to a bright south-facing bedroom and en suite bathroom. De Beauvoir is a beautiful conservation area near the canal, neighbouring Dalston and Islington. More about the space: The living room has a huge indigo linen sofa and cushions, super-fast 350MB wifi, a 50" Smart TV with Sky, Netflix and Spotify, an Art Deco radiogram and a real log fireplace with a velvet tub chair at its side. The 1930's kitchen has a vintage fridge and oven, cooking equipment, an extendable kitchen/ dining table and Victorian school chairs. The bedroom upstairs has a dark-wood suite consisting of a double bed, side tables, a dressing table and chest of drawers, and lots of plants throughout. The en suite bathroom is equipped with bath tub, Victorian antique-brass fixtures (shower and taps) and fresh towels. Both floors have dark wood flooring and sash windows, and the downstairs ceiling has exposed beams and dimmable filament lightbulbs. A professional clean will be done prior to your arrival.

OVERTIME Overtime will be billed in half-hour increments. The space must be vacated and all items brought into the space must be removed by the end time of your booking reservation. Please do not arrive early unless this has been prearranged. CLEANING / DAMAGES Cleaning fee is included in the hourly rate, although guests are expected to leave the space in the same condition as they found it in. Guests must respect the space and I ask that guests tidy up after themselves. Guest must remove any equipment or rentals you bring in, and you should factor this setup and teardown time in your booking hours. Please take great care of my space. No nails, screws, staples or penetrating items should be used on our walls. Any tape or gummed backing materials must be properly removed. Damages (walls, floors, furniture, etc) will be billed to the credit card on file. FURNITURE Please notify me in advance if you need to move furniture in the space to suit your event needs. MISCELLANEOUS There is no smoking or smoke machines allowed in the space. No glitter or confetti can be used.
