MONDAYS CONTENT CO. — STUDIO HIRE TERMS & CONDITIONS These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with Mondays Content Co. By making a booking, paying for studio hire and/or ticking the acceptance box during the booking process, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. For the purpose of these Terms, “Mondays”, “we”, “us” and “our” refers to Mondays Content Co. “You”, “your”, “hirer” or “client” refers to the person or business making the booking. 1. BOOKINGS & PAYMENT All bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed once payment has been received. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, studio hire must be paid for in full at the time of booking. Your booking gives you exclusive use of the studio for the time stated on your booking confirmation, subject to these Terms & Conditions. Your booking time must include all preparation, set-up, outfit changes, equipment set-up, filming, photography, packing away and departure from the studio. Please do not arrive significantly earlier than your booking time unless this has been agreed with us in advance. Bookings that run beyond the agreed finish time may incur additional studio hire charges, subject to availability. 2. £100 SECURITY/DAMAGE DEPOSIT A refundable £100 Security/Damage Deposit may be required in addition to your studio hire fee. This is a security deposit and does not form part of the studio hire price. Following your booking, we will inspect the studio, furniture, equipment and props. Provided the studio has been left in satisfactory condition and there has been no damage, loss, excessive cleaning requirement or breach of these Terms, we will initiate the return of your Security/Damage Deposit within 48 hours of your booking ending. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account. We reserve the right to retain some or all of the Security/Damage Deposit where reasonably necessary to cover: Damage to the studio, furniture, sets, equipment or props. Missing or lost items. Breakages. Staining. Excessive cleaning. Damage caused by spillages. Unauthorised movement or alteration of studio fixtures. Damage caused by your guests, clients, models, photographers, suppliers or other attendees. Any other reasonable costs incurred by Mondays as a direct result of your booking. If the cost of repairing or replacing damaged or missing property exceeds £100, you remain responsible for the additional amount. Where deductions are made, we will provide reasonable details of the issue and associated costs.3. CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING If you need to cancel or reschedule your booking, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@mondayscontentco.co.uk. Cancellations made more than 7 days before the booking: will receive 50% refund on payment made. Cancellations made with less than 7 days of the booking: no refund on payment made. Rescheduling requests made more than 7 days before the booking will be honoured at no additional fees. Rescheduling requests made after this point will be treated as a cancellation. Where a booking can reasonably be resold, Mondays may choose at its discretion to offer a transfer, credit or refund. This is not guaranteed unless specifically stated within the cancellation policy above. Failure to attend your booking without notice will be treated as a cancellation and no refund will be due. The £100 Security/Damage Deposit is separate from the studio hire fee and will not be retained purely because you cancel your booking unless there are separate sums properly due to Mondays. 4. STUDIO USE Mondays Content Co. is a purpose-built content and business space. The studio may be used for activities including photography, videography, social media content creation, product shoots, interviews, podcasts, meetings, planning days, training sessions, masterclasses, workshops, small launches and other agreed business activities. If you intend to use the studio for an event, larger gathering, unusual activity or anything involving additional equipment, food suppliers, alcohol, specialist installations or increased risk, this must be discussed with us before booking. We reserve the right to apply additional conditions, deposits or charges to certain uses of the studio. The studio must only be used for lawful purposes. 5. STUDIO SETS, FURNITURE & PROPS You are welcome to use the studio sets, furniture and available prop library during your booking. Some furniture and styling pieces may be moved to create different content environments where it is safe and reasonable to do so. Furniture must be lifted rather than dragged across floors. Heavy furniture, fixed features, large mirrors, structural items and anything we identify as non-movable must not be moved without permission. All furniture and props must be returned to their original position before leaving unless otherwise agreed. You are responsible for treating all studio furniture, sets, equipment and props with reasonable care. Many items within the studio exist primarily for styling, photographic or videographic purposes. Decorative food, drink, books, packaging, cosmetics, accessories, electrical items and similar styling props should not automatically be assumed to be functional, edible, consumable, suitable for application or appropriate for their apparent purpose. If you are unsure whether something may be used, please ask. 6. PERSONALISING THE SPACE We love seeing clients make Mondays their own. You may bring your own products, branding, signage and removable styling pieces. However, you must not use anything that may permanently mark or damage walls, floors, furniture, props or studio surfaces. The following must not be used without our prior written approval: Nails. Screws. Permanent fixings. Strong adhesives. Paint. Permanent markers. Glitter. Confetti. Smoke effects. Smoke machines. Powders. Loose substances which are difficult to remove. Anything involving an open flame. Any installation attached to walls, ceilings, exposed beams or structural features. Removable styling must be removed completely at the end of your booking.7. EXPOSED BEAMS, RAISED AREAS & STRUCTURAL FEATURES The studio includes exposed beams and may contain raised platforms, steps or other architectural features. Please use these areas responsibly. You must not climb on, hang from, attach equipment to or otherwise interfere with exposed beams or structural features. Furniture must not be positioned in a way that creates an unnecessary fall risk. You are responsible for ensuring that everyone attending your booking uses the studio safely. 8. EQUIPMENT Where your booking includes access to Mondays equipment, this may include items such as tripods, stabilisers, microphones, lighting or ring lights. Equipment must be used responsibly and returned in the same condition in which it was provided. You are responsible for checking that equipment is suitable for your intended use. Mondays cannot guarantee compatibility with every phone, camera, device or software platform. You are welcome to bring your own equipment. You remain responsible for your own cameras, phones, laptops, lighting, microphones and other belongings throughout your booking. 9. PHOTOGRAPHERS, CONTENT CREATORS & OTHER SUPPLIERS You are welcome to bring your own photographer, videographer, content creator, make-up artist, hairstylist or other supplier unless your particular booking states otherwise. Any third party you bring into Mondays remains your responsibility. Mondays is not responsible for the quality, delivery, conduct or services of third-party suppliers hired independently by you. Where Mondays recommends or introduces a Resident photographer, content creator or other independent creative, their services may be subject to a separate agreement directly between you and them unless expressly stated otherwise. 10. GUESTS & ATTENDEES The person making the booking is responsible for everyone attending the studio as part of their booking. This includes clients, models, employees, team members, photographers, content creators, make-up artists, suppliers and guests. You must ensure everyone attending complies with these Terms & Conditions. Bookings must remain within any stated studio capacity. You must let us know in advance if you expect an unusually large number of attendees. There is 3 designated reserved car parking spaces for Mondays guests. If you know you will need more than 3 car parking spaces please email us at hello@mondayscontentco.co.uk. 11. CHILDREN Children attending Mondays must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. The studio contains equipment, furniture, decorative items and elevated areas that have not been designed as children’s play equipment. Parents, guardians and/or the person making the booking are responsible for supervising children throughout their visit. 12. PETS & ANIMALS Pets and animals must not be brought into the studio without prior agreement. Where permission is given, the hirer remains responsible for any damage, cleaning or disturbance caused by the animal. Assistance animals are of course permitted in accordance with applicable law.13. FOOD & DRINK Food and drink may be permitted within the studio provided reasonable care is taken. Please take particular care around upholstered furniture, rugs, carpets, studio equipment and styling pieces. You are responsible for clearing away food, packaging and rubbish associated with your booking. You may be charged for staining, damage or excessive cleaning caused by food or drink. 14. ALCOHOL Alcohol must not be sold at Mondays without the appropriate licences and our prior written agreement. Where alcohol is provided at an approved private booking or event, the hirer is responsible for ensuring it is supplied and consumed lawfully and responsibly. Mondays reserves the right to refuse or stop alcohol consumption where we reasonably believe it presents a safety, licensing or behavioural concern. 15. SMOKING, VAPING & FIRE SAFETY Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the studio. Candles, naked flames, fireworks, sparklers, smoke machines and other fire or smoke-producing items must not be used without our express prior approval. Fire exits and access routes must be kept clear at all times. 16. CLEANLINESS We expect normal use of the studio and understand that content creation involves moving things around. However, the studio should be left reasonably tidy at the end of your booking. Props and furniture should be returned to their original locations. Personal belongings, packaging, food, rubbish, products and equipment must be removed. Where the studio requires cleaning substantially beyond normal turnaround cleaning, a reasonable cleaning charge may be deducted from your Security/Damage Deposit or invoiced separately. 17. DAMAGE & BREAKAGES Please tell us immediately if anything is damaged, broken, spilled, stained or lost during your booking. Accidents happen and we would always rather know about something straight away. You are responsible for damage caused by you or anyone attending under your booking where that damage results from misuse, negligence, failure to follow these Terms or unreasonable behaviour. Where replacement is necessary, reasonable replacement costs may be charged. 18. PERSONAL BELONGINGS You are responsible for your own belongings and those of everyone attending with you. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mondays is not responsible for items that are lost, stolen, damaged or left behind unless this results from our negligence or another liability which cannot lawfully be excluded. Please check the studio carefully before leaving. 19. CONTENT, COPYRIGHT & PERMISSIONS Content created by you during your studio booking remains your content. Mondays does not claim ownership simply because it was created within the studio. You are responsible for obtaining any permissions, releases, licences or consents required in relation to your content. This may include: Model releases. Client consent. Music licences. Image rights. Product permissions. Brand permissions. Copyright licences. Permission from parents or guardians where minors appear within content. Mondays accepts no responsibility for claims relating to content created, published or commercially used by you where the necessary rights or permissions have not been obtained.20. MONDAYS CONTENT & SOCIAL MEDIA We love seeing what is created within Mondays. If we wish to repost, share or use content created by you for Mondays marketing, we will only do so where we have permission or where the content has been publicly shared and the relevant platform permits resharing. Where appropriate, we will aim to credit and tag the creator and/or business. If you do not want Mondays to share or repost your content, please let us know. 21. CHANGES TO SETS & STUDIO APPEARANCE Mondays is an evolving creative space. Sets, furniture, props, accessories, styling, layouts and decorative items may change from time to time. Images shown on our website or social media are illustrative of the studio but do not guarantee that every individual prop, furniture item or exact layout will remain available indefinitely. If a specific set, item or feature is essential to your booking, please contact us before booking so we can confirm availability. We will not intentionally make a substantial change to something specifically agreed as an essential part of your booking without discussing it with you. 22. HEALTH & SAFETY You are responsible for using the studio and its equipment sensibly and safely. Please follow any reasonable safety instructions given by Mondays. If we reasonably believe an activity creates a risk of injury, damage or disruption, we reserve the right to ask for it to stop. Serious or repeated failure to follow safety instructions may result in the booking being terminated. 23. CONDUCT We want Mondays to be a welcoming and enjoyable environment. Abusive, threatening, discriminatory, dangerous or seriously disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to end a booking where behaviour presents a genuine safety risk, causes significant disturbance or risks damage to the studio. No refund will be due where a booking is terminated because of serious misconduct or a material breach of these Terms. 24. LIABILITY Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to this, Mondays will not be responsible for losses which were not reasonably foreseeable when the booking was made, or for business losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control. Clients remain responsible for their own business activities, equipment, products, suppliers, guests and content while using the studio. Where you are using Mondays for commercial purposes, you are responsible for ensuring that you hold any insurance reasonably appropriate to your activities. 25. EVENTS & HIGHER-RISK BOOKINGS Certain bookings may require additional information or approval before being accepted. This may include events, launches, larger groups, specialist filming, unusual installations, alcohol, external catering, children’s activities, animals or anything involving increased risk. Mondays may require additional terms, evidence of insurance, a higher Security/Damage Deposit or additional fees depending upon the nature of the booking.26. CIRCUMSTANCES OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL Occasionally circumstances outside our reasonable control may prevent us from providing the studio as booked. This might include significant building problems, utilities failure, severe weather, emergency closure, government restrictions or other genuinely unavoidable events. Where Mondays has to cancel your booking, we will offer an appropriate alternative date or refund the studio hire amount paid for the affected booking. Mondays will not be responsible for additional consequential costs such as photographer fees, travel, accommodation, models or other external supplier costs, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded. 27. MONDAY RESIDENTS Clients who hold a Monday Residency remain subject to these general Studio Hire Terms & Conditions whenever using the studio. Additional Residency Terms may also apply covering monthly hours, payments, booking priority, commitments and other Residency-specific arrangements. If there is a conflict between these Terms and expressly agreed Residency Terms regarding a Residency-specific matter, the Residency Terms will take precedence for that matter. 28. PERSONAL DATA Information supplied when making a booking will be used for legitimate purposes connected with administering your booking, communicating with you, processing payments, handling deposits and operating Mondays Content Co. Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation and our Privacy Policy. 29. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS Mondays may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version applicable to your booking will be the version presented to you when your booking was made. 30. GOVERNING LAW These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory rights you may have as a consumer. 31. ACCEPTANCE By completing your booking, you confirm that: You have read and understood the Mondays Content Co. Studio Hire Terms & Conditions and agree to be bound by them.
