SHANGRI-L’ARCHE — HOST RULES PLEASE READ — CRITICAL RULES • COVER UP OUTSIDE: Anyone wearing lingerie, underwear or otherwise in a state of undress must cover up fully before going outside the Arch, either front or back, including to smoke or go to a vehicle. • EVENING NOISE: From 6:00pm, music must be turned down and drums must stop. Noise outside the Arch must be kept to an absolute minimum. From 8:00pm onwards, we expect the studio to operate considerably more quietly. • NO LOITERING: Please arrive and leave swiftly and quietly. Do not congregate, chat, smoke or hang around outside the Arch. Please move conversations onto the main road. • GATE AFTER 6PM: After 6:00pm, the metal gate leading to the main road must be closed and secured every time you enter or leave. Please use the pedestrian or vehicle gate as appropriate and replace the padlock securely. Access codes will be supplied privately to confirmed guests. • RESET THE STUDIO: Chairs, furniture, props and equipment must be returned neatly to their original positions and the runway must be straightened before the end of your booking. • POWER OFF: All studio lighting, equipment and heating must be switched off before leaving. • LOCK UP: The Arch entrance must be closed and double-locked with the key. The key must then be returned to the key safe, the safe securely closed and the combination scrambled. • NO DRUGS: Illegal drugs and controlled substances are strictly prohibited inside the Arch, within the compound or in the immediate vicinity. • NO MESSY MATERIALS: No glitter, confetti (including biodegradable), fake blood, body paint, coloured powders, oils or other staining or difficult-to-remove materials. BOOKING TIME & OVERTIME Your booking time includes arrival, setup, shooting, pack-down, resetting the studio and departure. Late arrival does not extend your booking. Everyone and all equipment must be completely out of the studio by the end of the booked period. Overtime will be charged in accordance with Peerspace’s applicable overtime policy and in 30-minute increments. ATTENDANCE & CAPACITY Standard hire includes up to 20 people. The absolute maximum capacity is 40 people unless otherwise agreed in advance. An accurate attendee count must be provided no later than the day before the booking. Any changes or additional attendees must also be agreed in advance. Undeclared attendees may be refused entry. Applicable attendee-based pricing will apply. ARRIVAL, EXTERNAL CONDUCT & SHUTTER Photography and filming must take place inside the Arch unless specifically agreed otherwise. Please arrive promptly and head straight inside. No loitering outside before or after your booking. Please leave calmly, quietly and respectfully. The shutter door must remain closed during shooting unless agreed with us in advance. MUSIC, DJs & LIVE PERFORMANCE Music, DJs and live performance are permitted during daytime bookings. From 6:00pm, music must be reduced and drums must stop. Any amplified music or live performance continuing after 6:00pm must be discussed and agreed with us in advance. From 8:00pm onwards, noise must be reduced considerably. At all times, guests must comply with any reasonable request to reduce the volume. PARKING, LOADING & DRIVE-IN ACCESS Parking is not permitted within the Arch compound. Loading and unloading only is permitted. Street parking is available nearby. Drive-in access is available at £60 per hour with a three-hour minimum and must be booked in advance. You must tell us what vehicle you intend to bring into the studio before the booking. Vehicles may not be driven into the Arch without prior agreement. FURNITURE, EQUIPMENT & RUNWAY Furniture and equipment may be moved carefully where appropriate but must be returned to their original positions before the end of the booking. The runway must be returned straight and in its original position. Do not stand on furniture. Any damage or breakage must be reported immediately. BABY GRAND PIANO The baby grand piano is available for normal use and as part of shoots. DO NOT stand on the piano. No heels, sharp jewellery or anything else likely to scratch, dent or damage the piano may come into contact with its surface. POLE & AERIAL HOOP The pole and aerial hoop are provided for client use. Please use them responsibly and within your own ability. Children must be appropriately supervised. Any damage or issue with the equipment must be reported immediately. SMOKE MACHINES, FIRE & PROHIBITED MATERIALS Smoke machines ARE permitted at Shangri-L’Arche. Naked flames are strictly prohibited. This includes candles and flame effects. Glitter, confetti, fake blood, body paint, coloured powders, oils and other staining, messy or difficult-to-remove materials are prohibited. Animals are not permitted. NUDITY, LINGERIE & ADULT CONTENT Nudity, lingerie, boudoir and artistic nude photography/filming are permitted inside the Arch. Anyone wearing lingerie, underwear or otherwise in a state of undress must cover up fully before going outside the Arch, front or back. Explicit sexual activity and pornographic filming are not permitted. Explicit sexual noise is also prohibited as sound carries to neighbouring properties. PERMITTED USE Shangri-L’Arche is available for photography, filming, content creation, music videos, rehearsals, workshops and other agreed creative or professional productions. Parties, birthday parties and purely social events are not permitted. DRUGS, ALCOHOL & CONDUCT Illegal drugs and controlled substances are strictly prohibited in the Arch, compound and immediate vicinity. Anyone possessing, using or supplying illegal drugs, or engaging in drug-related activity, will be required to leave and the booking may be terminated. Alcohol may be consumed responsibly during legitimate bookings. Anyone who is excessively intoxicated, aggressive, dangerous, disruptive or creating a risk to people, neighbours or property may be required to leave. SECURITY & DEPARTURE Before leaving: • Return chairs, furniture, props and equipment to their original positions • Straighten the runway • Remove all equipment and personal belongings brought to the studio • Switch off all studio lighting, equipment and heating • Close and double-lock the Arch entrance • Return the key to the key safe • Close the key safe securely and scramble the combination • After 6:00pm, close and padlock the main-road metal gate Failure to secure the premises may result in responsibility for reasonable losses directly arising from the studio being left unsecured, subject to Peerspace’s applicable terms and dispute process. DAMAGE, EXCESSIVE RESTORATION & RULE BREACHES Guests are responsible for damage caused by themselves or their attendees in accordance with Peerspace’s policies. Damage, specialist cleaning or restoration beyond normal turnover, and other eligible additional costs may be submitted to Peerspace with supporting photographs, records, invoices or other evidence. Serious breaches — including illegal drug use, dangerous/aggressive behaviour, deliberate damage, serious disturbance to neighbours, prohibited activity, exceeding maximum capacity or refusal to follow reasonable safety/security instructions — may result in the booking being terminated and attendees being required to leave. Any additional charges or rule-break fees will be handled in accordance with Peerspace’s applicable policies and dispute process.
