I will meet you at the door to let you in and lock up at the end. Please confirm your arrival time the day before so I can be there. The entrance is the black glazed door with the gold lettering. There is one step up, then it is level throughout. PARKING Private parking on site directly outside. Street parking nearby is Tower Hamlets permit controlled, so please check signage before leaving anything on the road. WIFI Network: Pottsy's Classroom Password: ThisPasswordIsLongButEasyToRemember RESTROOM There is one toilet on site, in the green wet room on the ground floor. Please plan accordingly for larger crews. A facilities unit is worth arranging if you are over 20 people. THE SPACE Main hall, double height with a mezzanine gallery above. Open plan kitchen and dining. Mezzanine study. Green wet room. Private courtyard. Best light is south facing, strongest morning through early afternoon. The shutters on the school windows fold back fully if you need more light, or close for blackout. TO AVOID EXTRA FEES 1. Full floor protection is required. The floors are burnt oak and mark easily, so please lay down protection before bringing in kit, trolleys or wheeled cases. 2. No drilling, nailing, fixing or painting anywhere. 3. Furniture can be moved, but please move it back to where you found it before you leave. 4. No smoking inside. 5. Please take all production waste with you. The domestic bins are not for shoot rubbish. GOOD TO KNOW The gold lettering on the front glass reads "Pottsy's Playhouse". Easy to mask if you need a clean frame, just bring tape. The woodburner in the main hall is currently out of use. It is cracked and cannot be lit. It still looks the part on camera. If you need a working fire in shot, tell me as early as possible and I will have it repaired ahead of your dates. The artwork throughout is my own, so there are no clearance issues if it appears in shot. Happy to take pieces down if you want clean walls, just let me know in advance. The mezzanine has an open gallery edge with a balustrade. Worth a word with your crew if you are working up there. NEARBY Mile End station is a nine minute walk.
