Luxury Cottage Near The Lake District

Check-ins are 4pm and Check-outs are 10am. Wood-fired Hot-tub: There is a starter pack of logs and kindling outside Cuckoo Cottage - this is for the wood fired hot tubs and indoor log burner. More can be purchased at local supermarkets in Penrith, a 10 minute drive from Edenhall. Please do not put coal or anything else into the hot tub grates when lighting them as it will damage the tub.  The hot tubs can take up to 3 hours to heat up. As soon as you arrive we advise you to light the fires in the grates (these will have been pre-laid for you by our grounds staff) and keep the fire going until the hot tub gets to temperature. The more logs that you use, the quicker the tub heats up!  Please note the hot-tubs cannot be pre-heated before your arrival, as they require someone to stay with them and feed wood into the log burner, and we don’t have the staffing capacity at this time. Please ensure you shower before entering the hot tub – this will help to keep it nice and fresh throughout your stay.   Other Useful Information: Please return the keys to the box if you are out during the day, in case our team needs emergency access to the property. Also please ensure the keys are returned to the key box on departure. You will find everything you need inside the house, please see the welcome folder for local recommendations and other information about the estate.
