Étage House Rules Étage is a boutique wellness and creative studio. We ask all guests to respect the space and neighbouring businesses at all times. Bookings & Payments • Full payment is required to secure the booking date. The booking is only confirmed once payment has been received. • A refundable security deposit may be required for events involving alcohol, more than 40 guests, evening bookings, the use of heavy equipment, or significant layout changes to the furniture. Any damage, excessive mess, or additional cleaning required beyond standard use will be charged accordingly and may be deducted from the security deposit. • The booking period includes setup and breakdown time. Access to the studio begins at the agreed start time and the space must be fully vacated by the agreed end time. Any overrun beyond the agreed end time will be charged at the standard hourly rate in 30-minute increments. Late arrivals do not extend the booking. • Unless agreed otherwise, the cancellation policy for venue hire is as follows: Cancellations made 30 days or more before the booking date – full refund. Cancellations made between 30 and 7 days before the booking date – 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the booking date – non-refundable. Use of Space • No late-night parties or nightclub-style events. • Music must remain at a moderate level at all times in consideration of neighbouring businesses, particularly between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm Monday–Friday • Alcohol is permitted for approved private, corporate or brand events. Guests may bring their own alcohol with prior approval. • External catering is permitted with prior approval. Clients are responsible for setup, service and removal of all catering items. Any additional cleaning required beyond standard use may be charged accordingly. • No smoking or vaping inside the premises. • No open flames or candles without prior approval. • Glitter, confetti, body oils, adhesives or any substances that may damage the sprung wooden floors and other furniture are not permitted. • If the agreement includes the use of Étage Pilates and dance equipment, it must be handled with care, disinfected using studio wipes, and returned to its original position after use. • The capacity discussed for the event must not be exceeded. • Furniture or equipment may not be moved without prior approval and must be returned to its original position before the end of the booking. • Étage does not provide tables or chairs for large events. External furniture is permitted with prior approval, provided all items are fitted with appropriate anti-scratch floor protectors. • If furniture is delivered or collected outside of the booked hire period, a representative of the client must be present. All deliveries and collections must be pre-agreed with the studio and scheduled no earlier than 12 hours before and no later than 12 hours after the booking. • Shoes that leave black marks on the studio floors should not be worn. Any black marks caused during the booking must be cleaned before leaving the space. • The space must be left in the condition it was found, including removal of all rubbish generated during the booking. Any waste left behind may incur an additional cleaning and disposal charge. Conduct & Responsibility • Excessive intoxication or disruptive behaviour during the booked hours will result in the booking being terminated without refund. • Guests are responsible for their own personal belongings. Lockers are available for use during your visit; however, Étage accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal items brought onto the premises. Liability & Security • Clients are responsible for ensuring appropriate insurance coverage for their event where applicable. Participation in any physical activity is at the individual’s own risk. Étage is not liable for any injuries sustained during the booking. • For safety and security purposes, CCTV cameras operate in the main studio areas. By entering the premises, guests acknowledge and consent to being recorded in these areas.
