SHOOT GUIDELINES Welcome to our home, we’re happy to share it with you. We’ve put together a few guidelines for your team before you begin. While not all of these rules will apply to your shoot, we have to cover our bases to account for projects of all types. THE NEIGHBORHOOD We are extremely mindful and considerate of our neighbors and do not want to disturb them or traffic flow. Do not block the street at anytime with gear/merch while loading, instead use the area in front of the garage. Please do not hang around outside the front of the house. *see smoking rules below. And please always keep the gate shut. Please keep the noise to a minimum as best you can. Uber/Carpool is highly recommended for any vehicles not carrying the necessary gear for the shoot. We cannot allow unnecessary street closures that would disturb the neighbors. If large crew offsite parking will be required. SHOES Please be respectful of our light, bleached white floors. When moving gear/equipment or furniture, please be extremely careful with the hardwood floor, lift the item(s) to move it, please do not drag it along the floor. To avoid any unnecessary charges we request the following: -Please have your team lay down mats/cardboard for pathways *blue paper tape only on floors -remove your shoes in the entryway. -please provide shoe booties FURNITURE No food or drink (except water) inside the house whatsoever. Furniture is mostly white and can be stained easily so please cover or avoid using it unless you are shooting on it. Furniture pads are available for rent if you require them. FOOD It’s ok to have food and catering. Please set up in the outdoor dining area. The kitchen in the attached ADU area as well as its outdoor patio is available for catering/food set up. Main kitchen is ONLY available for shooting. Both kitchens are all white and spills can easily stain the surfaces and cabinets so we ask that you don't eat in the kitchen and be extra mindful of the kitchen counters. Our site rep can help you cover the counters if needed. POOL Pool heating can be provided at an extra fee. A full 24 hour notice is required for heating. Please note pool man comes every Friday morning and spends about 20 min cleaning the pool. YARD Gardener comes for about 20 minutes before 10 am on Fridays. REMINDER Please don’t take anything from our house. It is our home and it is furnished as such. We’ve indexed and photographed our belongings and anything taken will be noticed. We appreciate you being respectful and treating it as your own home. A walkthrough will be scheduled with your Producer and our Site Rep both before and after the shoot. GARBAGE Please keep your garbage in your own bag outside and put it in the large black bin on the side of the house. We only have one trash bin, so if you have more than one bag, please take your garbage out with you. SMOKING Absolutely no smoking of any kind in the house. If we smell smoke, we will treat it as damages and will charge you additional fees accordingly. You can smoke in front of the garage doors and pool deck. **Please provide your own ashtrays/butt can and do not dispose of cigarette butts in the yard or hillside. This house is completely made out of wood and we are in a VERY high-fire area with lots of brush around. Please see site rep if you have further questions. FIRE EXTINGUISHER There is a fire extinguisher located underneath the sink ARRIVING/LEAVING Just a reminder that we have the Site Rep and home booked for your requested start time. Do not have crew members try to enter the property early unless arrangements have been made prior. You have a hard stop at the time your shoot is wrapped. This means all crew members and merchandise must be off the property (garage, driveway included). Please be respectful of the time frame allotted for your shoot. If you are still loading out we will include that time as an additional fee for you. SITE REP A site rep is required for every shoot not matter the size. Our sites reps are very experienced and helpful and have worked with all the major location companies in town. Any questions, don't hesitate to ask them!
