## Cressy Hall Shoot Rules ### Welcome to Cressy Hall! To ensure a smooth, enjoyable, and professional experience during your shoot, please carefully follow these guidelines: 1. Arrival and Parking • Drive slowly and carefully, as our resident peacocks often sunbathe near the driveway and fountain. • Parking is available for up to 10 cars in the designated area. Please do not block pathways or access points. • Notify us via WhatsApp 10 minutes before your arrival so the house manager can greet you and assist with access. 2. Footwear • Kindly refrain from wearing shoes inside the house to protect the newly laid carpeting. • If shoes are necessary for the shoot, please use the shoe covers provided. 3. Wildlife Interaction • Our resident peacocks are friendly but must not be chased, touched, or disturbed. • You are welcome to feed them dry white toast if desired. • Visiting dogs must always remain on a lead for the safety of the wildlife. • Treat any wildlife in the woods (deer, rabbits, or porcupines) with respect. Do not frighten, chase, or disturb them. 4. Property Boundaries • Stay within the clearly marked property boundaries at all times. • Do not enter neighbouring farmland or private areas. Use public pathways for any external shots. 5. Fireplaces, Candles, and Open Flames • Permission is required before lighting candles, the wood burner, or the living room fireplace. • A separate charge applies for using the wood burner or fireplace. • Open flames, including candles, barbecues, or fires, must never be left unattended. • Fireplaces on the first and second floors are strictly off-limits. 6. Hot Tub Usage • Use of the hot tub requires prior permission and will incur an additional charge. • Use only the plastic glasses provided when using the hot tub. • Always replace the hot tub cover when not in use to maintain cleanliness and safety. 7. Smoking Policy • Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors. • Smoking is allowed outside only in designated areas. Please dispose of cigarette butts safely in the containers provided. 8. Noise Management • While there are no immediate neighbours, please ensure that noise levels remain reasonable, particularly during the evening. 9. Time Management • Your booking includes preparation and wrap-up time. • Any additional time required must be agreed upon in advance and may incur extra charges. 10. Restoration and Checkout Before leaving, please ensure the following: • All lights, flames, and appliances are turned off. • All windows are closed and doors securely locked. • The property is left clean and tidy, with furniture returned to its original position. • Place bin bags in the designated bin cupboard. When you walk down the drive towards the barn there is a cut-through to the garden on the left. The bin cupboard is the left turn here. 11. Equipment and Property Care • Cressy Hall is a 300-year-old period house. Handle all heritage features, doors, and windows with care. • Take extra care with window curtains and shower curtains—open and close them delicately. • Protect floors by lifting heavy equipment and furniture instead of dragging it. • In the billiard room, return all balls and cue sticks to their original place after use. • Guests may use the piano and guitars for creative purposes, but they must be returned to their proper place and handled carefully. 12. Energy Use • Turn off all lights, appliances, and radiators when not in use to conserve energy. • As part of our ESG commitment, we strive to reduce energy consumption. 13. Table Seating Arrangements • If you require specific table setups for shoots, the following options are available: • Kitchen table: seats 10 people • Dining room table: seats 8 guests • Garden table: seats 12 people • Extension tables or custom table decorations can be provided upon request for specific shots or events. 14. Disclosure of Shoot Activity • Bookers must disclose the type of shoot activity in advance and be truthful about its nature. • If the shoot involves nudity or adult content, you must request prior permission and clearly communicate the nature of the production. • Failure to disclose this information may result in the immediate interruption of the shoot, potential penalties, and charges for damages incurred. 15. Guest Occupancy • The maximum occupancy limit, outlined in the agreement or platform terms, must be strictly adhered to and not exceeded. • Additional guests, interviewees, or crew members attending the shoot must be disclosed in advance in case we need to make extra proper arrangements.
