The Production Company will give a list of full names marked as cast or crew so we know who is safe in the event of fire. This is a licensing regulation and supervision regarding entry will be adequately covered by the Production Company. It’s very common for people to leave the gates open so this needs checking. There are 2 indicator lights which will be shown. You will need to have adequate Public Liability insurance in place. A copy of the policy will be provided in advance. The large chandelier in the drawing room will not be turned on at all unless its on low and turned off when not shooting. Failure to abide by this means it shall not be used again. The Production Company will take good care of the premises and will undertake such work as is necessary to ensure that the premises are reinstated to the condition it was in at the start of the day. The Production Company or its clients will have no right to move any items apart from small wooden chairs in the premises unless express permission is granted at the time. Assistance to approve any such moves will be available immediately. Access to the stage will be on a strictly ‘need to be there’ basis unless alternative arrangements are approved on the day. Absolutely nothing can be touched on the stage. Any kind of adhesive tape or sticky substance will not be used on any surface at all in the building. No fire, wet/messy materials, glitter or sugar glass can be used in the venue at all. If any damage or loss is caused during filming by the production company, its associates, guests or employees the production company will reimburse the value of the item to a reasonable degree. Particular care must be taken carrying things upstairs like tripods/lighting stands as if the antique wallpaper is damaged the costs could rise into thousands. All cables should be covered by rubber mats where practical. It is important that members of the cast, public or crew do not venture into areas that are unlit or not being used for filming or touch anything at all that isn’t their property. Access to the private/family residential area is not permitted, unless permission is specifically granted.
