Light-filled Mews House with Calm & Cosy Lounge in Lonsdale Road

Information about the venue: - Please note that we can only book venue hires by the hour. The space requires a minimum booking of 2 hours. - The Lounge downstairs has more comfy seating and our coffee / wine bar, while The Library upstairs is a more formal event space, with a projector and screen. - Each area can fit up to 50 people standing, or 30 people seated depending on the layout. - We have crockery and glassware for up to 30 people that you may use, £3 per person additional charge will apply - You may bring your own decorations (flowers / balloons on a weight etc), but you may not stick things on the wall or hang things off the fixtures. Your own catering is fine. - No confetti & open fires in the space. - If tables are used for food they need to be covered to avoid damage. - Your own catering is fine. - We have a sound system, you can play music off Spotify. - Unloading can be done just in front of the venue.  - We don't have a parking space outside the space as Lonsdale is a private road, however, there is pay and display parking on the streets surrounding us. - For Sunday bookings: Lonsdale Road is closed from 8am - 3pm, so car access is until 8am and after 3pm only. We are also running Sunday Hearth Market from 10am - 2pm in front of the space, but rest assured that indoor area is exclusively reserved for venue hires. Our booking T&Cs are: - We don't host kids parties, only children under 1 y.o. & over 12 y.o. are allowed in space. - Please note that for dry hires, all set up and take down must happen during the rental period. - A £100 security deposit to be paid to secure the venue (refunded within 2 weeks after the event. Non refundable in case of cancellation) - 100% of the fee due 14 days before event - If cancellations happen from 7 to 14 days before event, 50% fee will be refunded. - If cancellations happen within 7 days of the event, no fees will be refunded. - Hirers that overrun the agreed time may be liable for additional charges
