High Main Linton Colliery Welcome to High Main, we hope you enjoy your stay. The property is all electric, the cupboard in the kitchen houses the boiler. There are two switches with black paint on them they should be left on. In the lounge to the right of the TV the wall at the side of the chimney breast there is a thermostat this switches on the heating and water; it controls the temperature. Also, on this wall is the mains switch for the TV. The TV remote control is on the coffee table. There is a hoover and mop, however we have a cleaner visit after our guests departure. There is a shop/post office below which also sells groceries. A bus service from the village, which goes to Ashington. There you will find, ASDA, and many more shops. The property is ten minutes’ drive to Ashington, Nearest main line station is Morpeth 15 minutes’ drive where you can get trains to London, and Scotland. There is a large shopping centre and cinema, at Cramlington, 15 minutes away. Newbiggin by the sea is ten minutes’ drive. Newcastle City Centre is 40 mins drive, where there is lots of culture, nightlife, and shopping. There is also the Northumberland countryside and coast to explore. Ten minutes down the A189 there is a Leon, Co-op, and family pub, also links to the A19. The property is NO SMOKING, please respect this and smoke outdoors, extinguishing all cigarettes. The stove/wood burner IS OUT OF ORDER at the minute and visitors must not to use it for health and safety. The property is also very warm when heating is on and you have the small fire in the lounge too. NO PETS are allowed in the property.
