General Rules for York Road Studio • Booking & Arrival: Your booking time is when you are granted access to the studio. Please do not arrive earlier than 15 minutes before your scheduled time. For example, if your booking starts at 10:00 AM, do not arrive before 9:45 AM. Our site representative arrives at your booking time, not before. If you need extra time for setup, please book additional hours. • Guest Count Accuracy: Ensure your guest count is accurate at the time of booking. If you request a booking for 5 people but arrive with 25, additional fees may apply, and your booking may be subject to cancellation. • No Smoking Policy: Smoking (including cigarettes and cannabis) is strictly prohibited inside the studio. If smoking is essential for your shoot, a £250 fee can be paid in advance to waive this rule. • Cleaning & Space Condition: The space must be left in the same condition as when you arrived. This includes: • Taking out all rubbish • Returning props/furniture to their original places • Keeping the space clean The £80 cleaning fee listed on your booking covers our site representative’s time but does not excuse you from tidying up. Additional cleaning fees may apply for failure to comply. • Shooting Restrictions: • Shooting is strictly limited to inside the studio. No exterior or street shots are permitted. If you attempt to shoot outside, your booking will be immediately canceled without a refund. Cast and crew should remain inside the studio. • Prohibited Items & Activities: • No real firearms or live weapons (prop guns are allowed but must be approved by our site rep). • No pyrotechnics unless you have the required permits and a fire marshal present. • No fake blood, squibs, glitter, color smoke bombs, or pillow feathers—violations will incur a £250 additional cleaning fee. • No pornography of any kind. • Rental & Overtime: Your rental is billed hourly. To avoid overtime charges, all equipment, crew, and vehicles must vacate the premises by the end of your booked time. Example: If your booking is 12 PM - 8 PM, you must be off the property by 8 PM. Exceeding your time will result in an additional hourly charge. • Liability & Responsibility: • York Road Studio is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged equipment. • Any damage to the studio or its property will be charged to the production. • A location manager will be on-site for the duration of your booking to enforce these rules and assist with any questions. • Media & Promotion: We reserve the right to take and share behind-the-scenes photos of productions shot at our location for promotional purposes
